In Spain the bumblebee guy talks like a Mexican (Spaniards and Mexicans have quite different accents). In Mexico he talks like El Chapulín Colorado (a really popular show from the 70s in which the main character is dressed as a grasshopper, which is the direct inspiration for the bumblebee man).
