EMSKR: how to become tougher

Yeah I just can’t shake the feeling of injuries like breaking my neck, I get mad scared else id already be in a BJJ gym if that makes sense
I’m not into martial arts but I am into fear. Do what scares you man, there’s a huge opportunity for growth there.
I’ve only tried BJJ once, I’m mostly into yoga. You know what? We also hurt our necks and our hips and our backs in yoga. It is impossible to use your body in its full potential without having a bit of risk. But the human body is also a beautiful thing, it recovers, the injury itself is a teacher as you learn to work around it while you are healing. Surely you have injured/overtrained something at the gym which requires you to change your workout and then you discover something new.
And… people who have muscles and are trained for strength have less injuries in martial arts. Their tendons are stronger, their muscles prevent over extensions, their nervous system is trained, etc etc etc.
I really liked my one and only BJJ session especially because of the people. I didn’t keep on going because I’ll move cities soon and I hate losing friends as soon as I make them, but I will surely come back to it when I’m geographically stable again.
