Says they had smoked a couple of hours ago, don’t think they would still be impaired unless it was edibles or something. The cop probably did say ‘inner light’ which is a term I’ve never heard though I understand the meaning, and the smokers were thinking about it later at home and thought of an alternate story that would be funny to make into a comic.

Now here’s a sharp thinker. The events actually happened in Mexico, so I’m translating “encienda su luz interior” to “turn on your inner light” which I’m not sure how it’s translated into native english.

The events happened as depicted. The driver was not impaired but he fumbled with the question because he’s not from Mexico. We later joked that he was actually searching his inner light and that was converted into a comic.
