So, my fiance and I managed to get Bad Bunny tix to both el Choli in August and Bacelona next year. We are both Mexican and wanted to bring our flag with us to show our support and represent our heritage. I understand that for Mexicans there is always tensions between latin races, at least here in the US. We aren’t ignorant to that, so we are worried that it can be mistaken as a sign of offense. We truly love all cultures and love to travel and learn about all of them. So we just wanted to know how that could be taken by a local in PR as well as in Barcelona/Spain.

Well, I’ve heard some Spaniards being puzzled as to why us Latin Americans love carrying our flags. Here it’s a bit taboo to carry the Spanish flag (it has political connotations) and they understand our “nationalism” is different from theirs.

I do question how bringing your flag displays support, or why you would need to represent your heritage in a concert (given by a non-mexican artist on foreign soil). If I were to end up behind you, I’d be annoyed that you block my view to display the flag (coming from a Mexican-Canadian living in Spain).
