Homemade tacos al pastor brunch, Sunday Apr 10
r/torontoHey /r/Toronto, I’ve been here with my girlfriend during six months, and we realized our address book is completely blank (forever aloners).
So, we’d like to fix this and meet some cool redditors and host a tacos brunch at our place on Sunday, 2pm. It’s in Beaches, around Coxwell and Queen.
About us: she’s Spanish, I’m Mexican (hence the tacos). We are both freelance web designers who work mostly from home, so our social skills might be a bit rough. We are both good cooks, she’s vegetarian, I’m a big meat eater. Vegetarians are welcome, just let me know beforehand so I can accommodate for you.
What to bring: beer, or whatever you want to drink.
We’d be ecstatic if there’s interest, but we can’t feed dozens of people! So the cap would be around 8-10 people. Just post a comment or write me a PM and I’ll get in touch.

I’m 100% for this! I’m just over at Queen and Woodbine, and one of the things I’ve missed most since moving back from California is the shortage of good Mexican food in the city.
If you haven’t already, check out /r/torontoevents. Probably a given that there’re a lot of other web dev folks, so you should have an easy time making new friends. :)

This sounds like a great idea. Being half-Mexican myself, I’m always bringing the taco love home, and I’m always up to take the taco show on the road.
However, I’ve been feeling crazy shy and socially awkward lately so I’ll probably just end up making fish tacos for me and my wife this weekend. lol.
Ahhh come on, bring your wife, we’re socially awkward penguins too. I make some mean tacos man!

Wey, vi el anuncio un poco tarde, pero mataria por una buena taquiza!
Avisa cuando haya otra o si no podemos arreglar para chingarnos unas chelas. La proxima puede ser paella tambien o unas buenas tortillas de patatas! Si conseguimos una parrilla me ofrezco para preparar un buen asado estilo argentino.

Pues sobró un chingo de carne, porque al final vino la mitad de la gente que dijo que iba a venir. Ya está en el congelador esperándote, jaja. Deja ver cómo pinta el siguiente fin de semana, igual armamos algo. Tú puedes?

Que pedo wey! Ya nunca quedamos! Terminé un proyecto con una empresa, así que tendré tiempo entre semana. Avísame cómo va tu schedule para armar algo.
