Has anyone else's wasted typing become too good for their own good?
r/drunku/Dean_Moriarty:
I haven’t drank heavily on a consistent basis in about 11 months now, but my tolerance doesn’t seem to be dropping very much. Besides becoming a chatty Cathy and saying things I shouldn’t there isn’t much noticeable difference in my behavior.
I don’t get slurred speech, my typing doesn’t get clumsy, I can walk a line and touch my toes while rubbing my belly and tapping my head (If I had three hands) at the same time. And the next day struggle to remember what the hell happened. I’ve been told its a brown out where you need somebody to recount events to you in order for you to remember them.
I can act fairly normal despite the fact that I’m wasted and often times this just causes trouble for myself.
TL;DR: I probably graduated from college just in the nic-of-time.
Blackouts are associated with a rapid elevation in blood alcohol concentration, (source: http://pubs.niaaa.nih.gov/publications/arh27-2/186-196.htm), so you’re probably drinking on an empty stomach or too fast, but not enough as to end up wasted.
